Spring Cleanup Begins in our Town Gardens

This team is focused on spring cleanup at the group of gardens along Back Bay: the Hallock Commemorative Garden, Water's Edge Garden, Rain Garden, and The Bean Park Gardens.

The Post Office garden team ready to plant.

This group takes a quick break before going back to work at the Mary McBride Memorial Garden.

This team is maintaining and refreshing the Clark Park Historical Garden.

Wolfeboro Garden Club members are rolling up their sleeves and getting to work in the beautiful gardens they create and maintain throughout town.

It’s a lot of hard work, but the results are always worth it! These gardens are true community treasures, and we’re excited to see them come to life as the growing season gets underway.

If you’re strolling through the area, take a moment to appreciate the blooms and the efforts of our dedicated volunteers. Happy spring gardening!

Delicious Treats for the Final Regular Meeting of the Year

Another successful and well-attended meeting wrapped up the regular season for the Wolfeboro Garden Club! We enjoyed an informative and engaging presentation on the "good bugs" and "bad bugs" that make their home in our gardens. A big thank you to our speaker and to the hospitality committee for the beautiful and delicious refreshments that followed!

Now that spring is in full swing, our members are turning their attention to working outdoors in the many gardens throughout town.

May Event - Good Bugs / Bad Bugs

The Wolfeboro Garden Club will welcome Bonnie Power, a Massachusetts Master Gardener and engaging speaker from the MMGA Speakers Bureau, for a special presentation titled “Good Bugs & Bad Bugs” on Tuesday, May 13th at 1:00 PM at All Saints Church.

Bonnie will help gardeners of all experience levels take a closer look at the insects in their garden—both the helpful allies and the unwelcome pests. Drawing on her background in zoology and years of hands-on gardening experience, she’ll introduce some of the most common beneficial and pest insects found in New England gardens. You’ll learn to recognize their habits, understand their life cycles, and discover how to support the "good bugs" while managing the "bad" ones naturally and effectively.

The public is welcome.  Bring a guest!  Refreshments follow.
